Hope Lives

Hope Lives

He died to give us new life,

He died to set us free.

He died because He loves us,

He died for you and me.

~~~
He cried “It is finished!”
Every sin paid for in full.
Three days later he rose from the dead,
Giving us hope forevermore.
~~~

“Where, O death, is your victory?
    Where, O death, is your sting?”

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

~1 Corinthians 15:55-57 (NIV)

This Easter (and everyday) let’s celebrate the living hope we have in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Through the Eyes of a Child

exploring

~~~
Through the eyes of a child,
there is value in simple things.
Through the eyes of a child,
creativity springs.
Through the eyes of a child,
new discoveries are to be found.
Through the eyes of a child,
joy is all around.
Through the eyes of a child,
hope takes flight.
Through the eyes of a child,
wonder shines bright.
Anyway
ripples with hearts
My mom recently shared this poem with me, and it is a good reminder to keep on doing good even when you feel mistreated or like your efforts go unnoticed. It was a blessing to me, so I’m passing it along hoping that it is a blessing to you as well…
~~~

Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered;
Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives;
Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies;
Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you;
Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight;
Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous;
Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow;
Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough;
Give the world the best you’ve got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God;
It was never between you and them anyway.
