I have been making homemade sugar scrubs for almost a year now—It’s my new favorite hobby! So, I thought I would share two different scrubs that are perfect for the summertime. They are great for a little self-pampering or they make wonderful gifts as well. Today is all about the Coconut Sugar Scrub, and I will be back next week to share a recipe for a Lemonade Sugar Scrub…so stay tuned!
INGREDIENTS FOR THE COCONUT SUGAR SCRUB:
This recipe with fill an 8-12 oz. container {I like to use mason jars}. Mix the above ingredients together in a large bowl. If you want a more liquid-like consistency, add more oil. If you want a more solid texture, add more sugar.
It should look something like this…
Package the scrub in a container with a tight seal…
Enjoy for yourself or share with someone! Make sure to check back next week for the Lemonade Sugar Scrub!

Does it stay soft in the jar? Harden? Do you need to stir it before each use? Thanks, it looks great and perfect for gifts!
It will stay soft in a jar for at least a month or two as long as it’s sealed tightly. It may stay moist longer, just kind of depends on the climate you live in. Mason jars work well. If you notice the oil and sugar separating then it’s a good idea to stir it before using it. Thanks so much for coming by!!
Mmm…this would make me feel like I’m in Hawaii! But won’t cost nearly as much! π
Ha ha, good point! π Definitely a lot cheaper! π
